Level 3 Course in Youth Work Practice being delivered at Ridley Hall

Posted on Thursday 11 October 2018
Ridley Hall in Cambridge are delivering a level 3 qualification in Youth Work Practice starting 1st December 2018. With just 7 teaching days to attend in the first year and then up to 18 months to finish all the coursework, this course is designed to train and qualify youth workers while they work.

The Equip courses have been written by Christian youth workers for Christian youth workers and for those who wish to undertake work with young people from a Christian value-base.

The course is semi-distance learning using interactive training days, distance learning materials, work with young people and help from a mentor to enable you to learn more about youth work and develop your own understanding and skills.

Equip Youth Work is designed for:

  • You, if you are undertaking Christian youth work in your spare time, part-time, full-time or as part of a gap year programme;
  • Churches or Christian organisations, to enable their youth workers to receive easily-accessible quality training

Equip is a user-friendly way of learning.  It encourages you in your Christian youth work and opens up future possibilities for you.  It helps you to develop the skills needed for working with young people both inside and outside the church, and enables you to develop a Christian perspective and rationale to underpin the work you do with 11+’s.
