The Contemplative Minister - A BRF Quiet Day with Ian Cowley

Monday 19 June 2017
9:45am 4:00pm
Venue: Launde Abbey, East Norton, Leicestershire, LE7 9XB
On this day we will consider some of the reasons why many contemporary clergy are under such pressure and some are experiencing burn-out.

Do we need to radically rethink our model of ministry? During this day of reflection, Ian will help us to explore how we can recapture the contemplative heart of ministry. This Quiet Day is not just for church leaders, but for anyone who wants to live and minster from a place of contemplation.

Ian Cowley is an Anglican priest and, before retirement, was Coordinator for Vocations and Spirituality in the Diocese of Salisbury.  He is the author of The Contemplative Minister, which was published by BRF in 2015
