The Lord Chancellor wishes to appoint a Rector for the Three Rivers Group.
The Three Rivers Group comprises five villages set in pleasant countryside near Newmarket.
During the vacancy, which has so far lasted just over a year, we have made strides in working together, using our lay resources to conduct non-eucharistic services and make arrangements for clergy-led eucharists, life events and special seasonal services.
We are now looking for someone with a heart for rural ministry who will work with us to:
- teach and communicate the Gospel with inspiration and imagination;
- help us to grow as a lively, prayerful Christian presence, reaching out to our communities;
- plan and lead worship to enable a wide range of people to encounter God;
- encourage and inspire lay people to discover and develop their gifts;
- engage with our three primary schools.
