Team Rector - Linton Team

The Patrons of the Linton Team seek to appoint a new Team Rector

The Team comprises St Mary’s Linton and four other village churches set in pleasant countryside south of Cambridge.

We are looking for someone with energy and vision to accompany us and guide us to become ever more grounded in God and outward reaching in our communities.

The Team Rector is based at St Mary’s Linton - a sacramental, forward thinking, liberal minded, inclusive church - and leads a large ministry team to serve Linton and the four other village churches.

We can offer you:

• a ministry team comprising a Team Vicar, an Associate Priest, a retired priest with PTO, four LLMs, two ALMs;
• an energetic, supportive, and thoughtful congregation;
• worship focused on the Eucharist but also with other forms of non-sacramental contemporary worship;
• a part-time parish administrator and a youth worker;
• a Director of Music, choir and music group;
• a modern four-bedroom rectory and garden;
• five parish churches in good order with ministry shares paid in full.

We hope our new Team Rector will:

• broaden our ties with the wider community;
• strengthen our engagement with young families;
• enable us to work more closely as a benefice whilst maintaining our distinctive identities.
