St Philip’s Church, Romsey Town, Cambridge are a community-focused evangelical Anglican Church in a highly diverse area of Cambridge, with an electoral roll of 100, a busy church centre and cafe, four employees and an associated C.E. Aided Primary School. We see our purpose as worshipping God in all we do, growing together as disciples of Christ, serving the local community and enabling others to encounter Jesus.

St Philip’s Church are looking for a vicar who:

  • Is a prayerful leader and teacher able to reach out to mature Christians and non-Christians alike, and to shepherd a congregation that encompasses a broad range of Christian understanding and expression.
  • Applies the gospel to 21st century life, including how we do business, treat our neighbour, and engage with issues such as homelessness, social justice, and climate change.
  • Has a heart for children, young people and families.
  • Is confident getting alongside a broad range of vulnerable adults and providing support for church members involved in this ministry.
  • Leads St Philip’s to be coherent and effective in sharing the love of God.
