What is CSI?

“It’s an inter-curricular event for schools …. It’s a proper investigation where the children. It’s a wonderful thing that can happen, and that can happen time and time again because there is a new Year 5 every year so it’s is a good way to of building relations with the local school and helping the children really think what Easter means.”

Is it sustainable?

“Yes, definitely. Currently we pay Ruth 50% and the Diocese (growth fund) funds 50%. Going forward to the ne of the three years we have it in our budget to fund Ruth 100% of those 25 hours, so we definitely want this to continue. We are producing the budget and giving to make that happen for sure.”

 Would you recommend it?

“It was an exacting process, which you’d hope for, because you don’t want money to be wasted”

It’s definitely worth it. The great thing about Ruth is that she is that she is a strategic part of our leadership team here now, and together we pan for the future: where we are going to put things in the diocese and she brings a children’s and families angle to that which is really important because although the church is getting younger we can’t take that for granted and we need to make sure everyone is included.”
