Contactless kit giveaway through Parish Buying

Posted on Thursday 1 August 2019
If you are thinking of trying contactless giving in your church, or already have a SumUp card reader, please look at this new offer from Parish Buying.

The Church of England is collaborating with Visa to encourage churches to make contactless giving easily available. Three hundred churches are being sought to test out a new display unit that houses a SumUp contactless giving device alongside an android tablet. The setup is designed to make contactless giving easy with a credit or debit card.

Statement from Parish Buying

"Due to such a strong response to this offer we have had to close the application form as we have already received over and above the number of submissions for the amount of equipment available. We are so encouraged by the sheer enthusiasm from everyone who has applied and we are sorry that we are not able to offer equipment to everyone who wishes to have it.

As there have been more applications than there are stands and equipment bundles available, we will be using further selection criteria such as location and church size when allocating the equipment.

We will be in touch shortly to let you know if your application has been successful"
