ITV News Anglia has been uncovering the history behind St Wendreda’s in the town of March and its host of wooden angels in its roof.

This week ITV News featured the roof angels of St Wendreda’s Church in March. There is a video as well as a transcription.

On Saturday 31 st August  St.Wendreda's will be holding an open tower day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m

You will be able to climb to the top of the tower and assuming it is a clear day and see Ely cathedral.

There will be a zipwire for Teddies, face painting for children, body shop make up

There will be live music, bell ringing, tours of the church

There will also be the followings stalls for cakes, plants, fresh produce and bric a brac

Also on show will be the followings tables for:- The friends of St.Wendreda's, the Missions the church supports and a Card Stand

There will be the following refreshments available:- tea/coffee/biscuits/cakes/soup and rolls
