In preparation for her welcome service on Sunday 15th September at Godmanchester, Bishop Dagmar is walking the Fen Rivers Way, and invites you to join her or meet her on the way as she begins to get to know the diocese.

She writes:

 I would like to begin to get to know you, the people of the Diocese, and its landscape, and hopefully you will also begin to get to know me as we share the journey of 

• engaging in whatever lies before us in these challenging times,

• growing in our understanding, and

• deepening our love of God and one another.

 

Further details of the route and (approximate!) timings are as follows:

 

Thursday, 12th September

Start 7.30am Cambridge Railway Stn, via St Paul’s to 8.30am St Andrew, Chesterton, Morning Prayer

11am Waterbeach, St John the Evangelist

3pm Little Thetford, St George

5.30pm Ely Cathedral Evensong
 

Friday, 13th September

8.30am Ely St Mary, Morning Prayer

11am Littleport, St George

2pm Ten Mile Bank, St Mark

4.30pm Denver, St Mary

 

Saturday, 14th September, Holy Cross Day

Start 8.17 Downham Market Railway Stn & Morning Prayer at St Edmund, Downham M.

11am Wiggenhall, St Mary Magdalen

1pm Watlington, SS Peter & Paul
