Becoming a school Governor - an introduction

Date: 7th June 2022

Time: 18:45 - 20:00

School governors are education's unsung volunteer heroes.

Thousands of people across the UK support their local school by becoming a school governor.

If you are interested in becoming a school governor, particularly in one of our Church of England schools, but also if you wish to find out more, then please come along to this session to learn about:

  • different types of schools
  • roles and responsibilities of governors
  • useful skills
  • critical friendship
  • time commitment

This session will be delivered via Zoom.

A link will be sent a week before the event.
