The Church Commissioners for England has published its estate management plan, setting out how nature is being supported on its land and property portfolio. The National Estate for Nature: Our Management Plan details how nature recovery is managed alongside food production, housing delivery, renewable energy, and long-term financial stewardship.
The plan covers the Commissioners’ extensive UK real assets portfolio, which includes forestry, farmland, development land, the built environment as well as delivering habitat restoration and renewable energy projects. It also sets out clear priorities, SMART targets and time-bound goals through to 2030 and beyond.
