Health and Safety and First Aid

A church or parish health and safety policy should set out how you will protect employees, volunteers and visitors who use your church.

The Health and Safety Executive also provides a wealth on information on managing health and safty considerations, including how to best assess risk. (click here for more information)

The Health and Safety Executive recommends a number of health and safety training providers who will deliver training. More information can be found on their website here.

First Aid

The Parish Safeguarding handbook, found on the Safeguarding pages here, details some of the requirements that should be put in place by parishes to meet their basic first aid requirements.
