Theatre Organ Concert

Saturday 24 August 2019
2.30 start
Venue: The 1940s Camp PE26 2XB
A concert with Paul Turner on the Paramount "Unity" Theatre Organ (Digital). This is a rare opportunity to see and hear a unique instrument in the hands of the man who built it.

A concert with Paul Turner, the owner and builder of this instrument. Unity is built using Hauptwerk, a state of the art programme which allows users to play pipe organs in a vertual world.

Unity, however is different, it has gone from the Virtual to Reallity using a traditional console with real working stop tabs, just how it was done in the 30s. This concert is in aid of St Thomas' Church Pondersbridge and is in place of our previous venue as its organ was sold earlier this year.

Cost and booking:

£5.00  Please book in advance.
