Following the success of the Leightonstone Festival Week in 2025, Samuel is working with Leightonstone Churches to plan a Festival Fortnight. And new for 2026 is a West Norfolk & Wisbech Churches Festival Fortnight too! Here's a sneak peak at what's in the pipeline for these upcoming events.
Leightonstone Churches Festival Fortnight: 29 June - 12 July
- 'Cromwell talk' with Stuart Orme, at Huntingdon St Mary's.
- Church Tour with John Vigar, taking in the delights of Great Stukeley, Little Stukeley, Brampton, Ellington and Easton churches.
- A performance by Richard Exhall's Benny Goodman Quartet at St Michael Great Gidding.
- A talk by a local author at the village hall, and cream teas in church at Hamerton.
- Patronal Festival celebrations at Upton.
- A talk by James Blatch at Molesworth.
- Bellringing Open Days at Alconbury and Catworth.
- A churchyard event and walk at Little Gidding and Steeple Gidding.
- Family tea, and an Eliot Festival at Little Gidding.
- A Stained Glass talk at Kimbolton.
- A Village Fete at Winwick.
- Plus events still to be announced at Keyston, Bythorn and Buckden churches.
Wisbech and West Norfolk Churches Festival Fortnight: 27 July - 9 August
- Bell ringing, summer buffet, guided tours, coffee morning and a bellringing introductory experience at Walsoken.
- A concert at Elm.
- Flower festival and open church at Shouldham.
- Afternoon Tea and Festival Evensong with visiting choir at Tydd St Giles.
- Open church at Beachamwell.
- An exhibition and angel roof talk at Northwold.
- Church tour at Fincham.
- A Church Tour (TBC) taking in Tilney All Saints, Elm, West Walton and Walpole St Peter.
- Bat night and a church fete at Watlington.
- Plus events still to be announced at Downham Market, East Marshland, Weeting, Outwell and Upwell.
