Event Planning

Event Management: How to Plan and Run a Great Event

Many churches host major services (for example, at Christmas or Easter time), concerts and public performances, as well as a diverse range of fundraising events. Most of the time, such activities represent little or no additional risk. However, larger events or unusual fundraising activities can present more significant ones. Organising a successful event is really all about good planning and taking sensible precautions where necessary.

Most Local Authority websites contain advice on event planning including health and safety guides and planning templates.  Other useful websites are listed below. See also our page on Fundraising.
