The role of the Youth and Children’s Worker (YouthInc) is to help develop youth ministry with churches in rural South Cambridgeshire.
YouthInc is an initiative in South Cambridgeshire that aims to provide every young person in our communities with an opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Youth Inc are partnering with Cambridge & District Youth for Christ to create an exciting role to lead local ministry with young people.
- Salary: The salary range for this position before adjustments is £22,000 to £25,000 (depending on experience), based on working 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Leading youth group sessions, giving talks and presentations.
- Meeting with church leaders and other stake holders to create youth ministry opportunities that reflect the local need.
- Recruiting, training and collaborating with volunteer youth leaders to deliver youth ministry sessions and grow the capacity of the local church.
- Developing platforms for communication with church leaders, supporters, members of partner churches, parents and young people.
- Reporting to trustees in person and in writing.
- Meeting with other youth leaders to build partnership opportunities and organise joint events.
- Contributing to the strategic development of youth ministry across the area.
