Bishop Dagmar is delighted to announce that The Revd Iain George Osborne has been appointed the
Deputy Director of Planning in the Diocese of Ely. Following the acceptance of the new appointment Iain is resigning from his parochial role of Rector of the Ramseys and Upwood as of 2 January 2024.
Paul Evans says: “I am delighted with this important appointment, which is vital in helping Ely diocese imagine the next phase of our life together. Iain was recruited from a very strong field of candidates. He brings experience as a leader in mission, as well an exceptional, proven track record in strategic development and delivery before he was ordained. He will be much missed in the Ramseys and Upwood. Iain joins the diocesan staff on 3 January.
