Bishop Dagmar, acting Diocesan Bishop of Ely and Paul Evans, Diocesan Secretary, are delighted to announce that The Revd Michael David Newton, currently Team Rector, The Lordsbridge Team, has been appointed to the role of Diocesan Director of Ordinands. He will start in this new role on the 4th of January 2024. His last day as the Team Rector will be 3 January 2024.
Peter Leech, the Deputy Director of Mission and Ministry commented on the appointment, saying: “I am delighted that David will be joining the team as our new DDO in the new year. He brings with him a huge amount of experience as an effective and well-respected ADDO and Parish Priest. At the heart of his ministry is a deep desire to help people follow God’s call and grow vocations, both locally and across the diocese.”
