The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce the appointment of three Honorary Canons and three Lay Canons of the Cathedral.
The following will be collated and installed in Ely Cathedral during Evensong on Friday 16 October 2020.
Honorary Canons
- The Revd Sarah Gower, Priest-in-charge of Orton Goldhay, Diocesan Ecumenical Officer and Rural Dean of Yaxley
Lay Canons
- Mr Robert (Rob) Needle, Member of the Bishop’s Council and Diocesan President of the Children’s Society
- Ms Elizabeth (Lizzie) Taylor, Member of the Bishop’s Council, the Diocesan Synod, and the Granta Deanery Synod
- Mrs Lisa Turner, Lay Chairman of the Shingay Deanery, Member of the Diocesan and Deanery Synods, and Churchwarden of Fowlmere
