The Acting Bishop of Ely announces the resignation of the Revd Canon Philipa Ann King as Team Rector of the Ascension, Cambridge in the Diocese of Ely with effect from 31 October 2025.
Philipa has enjoyed furthering the work of the Gospel in the Ascension Benefice since 1995, first as Curate and since 2000 as Team Rector. She has been a valued colleague locally and in the wider deanery and diocese. It is with regret that, due to ill health, she has decided to step down from her role. She leaves with our prayers and our thanks for her ministry among us.
