On the 3rd of October we are delighted to be Licensing/Admitting a total of 18 Licensed Lay Ministers to the Diocese of Ely.

The service will be held via Zoom, and if you would like to ‘virtually’ attend, the link and passcode can be requested from the Bishop of Huntingdon’s office by emailing jo.godfrey@elydiocese.org.
The virtual service will begin at 2.30pm.
What is a Licensed Lay Minister?
Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) are lay people who come from all walks of life; they are licensed by their bishop to a teaching and preaching ministry, both within church and outside its traditional boundaries.
Called by God and trained in theology, they bring their life experience, skills and knowledge to their Christian service.
LLMs often have a role in equipping other Christians to grow as disciples in their places of daily living.
