Deanery Development Seminar

Raising our sights In order to assist Deaneries with the conversations around Living Ely 2025 - Deanery Development Planning we are planning two seminars in February, 7th and 27th February.

Each seminar would be presented by Peter Leech supported by the Archdeacons and Hugh McCurdy.

The theme for the seminars will be introduced and then we will hear from people from across the diocese who have something valuable to share with us. The purpose of the seminars is to hear what others are doing around the Diocese and see if there is mileage in exploring similar ideas in other deaneries.

Focussing on Mission. February 7th 2023 - 2.30pm at St Marys Church, Ely (2 hours).

• Joan Horan on community larder.
• Beth Cope on working without a building (outside church).
• Carol and Andrew Avery on Community café at Marys Child.
• Becky Dyball on Mother and Toddler group and creative arts engagement.
• All will speak on how people are invited to explore faith.
