All Saints' Landbeach Church Fete

Friends of All Saints' Landbeach (FOALS) Garden Party /Church Fête

Saturday 12 July

2:00 – 4:00 pm

Our Church Fête, held in the churchyard and the church itself, features a growing range of attractions:

+ We have the traditional and time honoured Village Games, Book and Bric-a-brac Stalls, and of course Cream Teas, and Pimms.

+ We are happy to have again Steam Train Rides, kindly provided by Julian Garratt in his nearby garden, Have-a-Go handbells and (training, ie safe) Tower Bell, and this year:

+ Renowned swift expert Dick Newell will be giving a 15 minute talk on The Swifts of All Saints’, which are nesting and breeding in the tower. [Four of the nests have nest cams which display on the screen in the church. They are also (usually) viewable online on www.youtube.com/@LandbeachSwifts ]

+ This year too we will be welcoming for the first time Cottenham Brass Junior Band to play in the churchyard, and provide a real Church Fête atmosphere. They practice in the Village Hall, and now will be playing for the Fête.
