Ely Deanery Lady Day Service

Ely Deanery Lady Day Service is on Friday 27 March in St Mary’s Church Ely. Marking the ‘Feast of the Annunciation of Mary’ (25 March) where she is visited by the angel who tells her she will give birth to a son, who will be named Jesus. We will also be celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the founding of Mothers’ Union. We will begin by gathering for a picnic lunch at 12.30pm (bring own lunch – refreshments provided), and the Service starts at 2pm. Come along and celebrate the good news at this service, which will be led by Revd Paula Spalding, Ely Diocesan MU Chaplain. Refreshments and cake served after the service. A warm welcome is extended to all.
