The Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust says.... Join us for this year’s Annual Conference which is open to members and non-members.

Conference title: Radiancy Divine – Light and Heat in Churches
Speakers:
- Dr Jasmine Allen is Curator of the Stained Glass Museum, a national collection of stained glass located in Ely Cathedral. The title of Jasmine’s illustrated talk is: “A man that looks on glass…” stained glass windows from Saxon times to the present day”.
- Dr Kirstin Kennedy is Curator of Metalwork 1450-1900 at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The title of Kirstin’s illustrated talk is “Candlelight and its accessories”.
- Bruce Kirk is Director of Light Perceptions Ltd, who design and create lighting schemes for historic buildings including major churches and cathedrals. The title of Bruce’s illustrated talk is: “From gas and gasoliers to incandescent lamps, and sodium floodlighting to LED light sources”.
- Sarah Khan is a conservation architect with Roger Mears Architects and is included in several diocesan lists of quinquennial inspecting architects. The title of Sarah’s illustrated talk is: “Keeping warm in church – from the Middle Ages to the present day”.
