The Revd Susan Mary Bowden-Pickstock, currently Assistant Priest (House for Duty) in the parishes of Harston, Hauxton and Newton has resigned from the role and her last day in the parishes and role will be 21 August 2022. She has been appointed as New Ministries Lead in the Coventry Diocese which she has already commenced.

Early Retirement Announcement: The Revd Ian Brady

The Revd Ian Brady, the Rector of the Six Fen Churches Benefice is retiring early, due to ill health, on 31 August. Ian's last Sunday in the Parish will be 31 July.

The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce that The Revd Alison Mary Kennedy, most recently Canon for Worship and Music at Chelmsford Cathedral and Tutor in Theology at St Mellitus College, has accepted the post of University Chaplain to Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge). She will commence her post on 1 August 2022.


Appointment Announcement: The Revd Canon Gillian Mary Jessop

The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Canon Gillian (Gill) Mary Jessop as Assistant Retired Clergy Officer for the deaneries St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives and Yaxley. Gill will be commissioned during the Annual Retired Clergy Eucharist in the Cathedral on Tuesday 31 May 2022.

The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce that The Revd David Todd, currently Minister at St Andrew The Less (Christ Church) Cambridge is to be Vicar of the Benefice, (subject the satisfactory DBS check). This appointment is effective from the resignation of the Revd Stephen Nicholas Midgley on 31 August 2022. Steve's last Sunday as Vicar in the Benefice will be on 28th August, but he will continue as an Associate Minister.
