Join the Archdeacon of Huntingdon and Wisbech, the Ven Richard Harlow, for a training event aimed at members of Parochial Church Councils, new and not so new.
This will be a chance to discover what your role is, what you are responsible for, and how better to work with fellow members and your clergy. This seminar is suitable both for those new to PCCs and for anyone wanting an insight into better practice for PCCs.
During the session we will look at:
- the rules and regulations for PCCs both in canon law and charity law,
- which policies you need and how to make them work,
- discerning the voice of God amidst the agenda of a PCC,
- processes that help you have better meetings,
- shortcuts to being more effective,
- as well as trying to answer your questions.
Numbers for each session are restricted to 40.
If you have any questions, you would like us to address during the session, then please direct these to: archdeacon.handw@elydiocese.org
