Our second Catalyst Cohort receive their certificates from Ridley Hall in May 2025.
It was a privilege to accompany our second Catalyst Cohort as they joined other participants from other diocese, to receive their certificates from Ridley Hall in May at the end of their training. It was so encouraging to hear from this cohort about the ministry and discipleship groups there were involved in. These included: developing a liturgy for an intergenerational service; starting a new discipleship group for young people; and reimagining festivals to provide a point of contact and a chance to share some of the Gospel story. Each participant had an opportunity to share about a project they have been working on as part of the course.
Catalyst is an 8 month training course for children youth and families leaders. The course has a blended approach to learning with each module accessed online which means you can read, watch and listen to content on a day and time that suits you and can fit around other commitments. Once a month there is an in person facilitated session, where learners share with each other and have an opportunity to learn from each other and our diocese facilitators. As well as the online learning there is also a weekend residential conference with some brilliant national specialists in children, youth and families ministry.
