In the lead up to Easter, the Leightonstone Churches welcomed 150 children from all three of their village schools to an Experience Easter Event. The children travelled back in time to Holy week and were immersed in the events of the story of Jesus’ death and glorious resurrection. They reflected on each part of the story and thought about the impact of it on Christians today. The experience was enjoyed by both the children and the staff and they all left with a palm cross. This is a fantastic way to engage with local schools in the lead up to Easter.
