The Youth Evangelism Conference is a day of inspirational teaching, energising conversation and practical advice to equip you to engage with the key opportunity of our time – reaching young people.
Natasha Clark, Development Officer: Young People at the Diocese of Ely, has been involved with the planning of the conference and delivered a seminar on the topic of “Emerging Worshiping Communities for Young People”.
She writes: “The YEC is a great opportunity for anyone working with young people to meet with like-minded colleagues, share resources and receive some great training on relevant issues.
In 2020, the topic of “Emerging Worshipping Communities for Young People” is a hugely relevant one for us at the Diocese of Ely. We work to not only to support existing youth ministries, but to invest in the development of strategic youth projects that see young people transformed in places where, historically, there has been little to no engagement with the church.
We are excited to be seeing signs of new life, new engagement and new worshipping communities emerging across our Diocese. These communities are being built around a commitment to putting young people first and being willing to reach them in their own context.
We are currently recruiting for a number of exciting positions and would love to talk with you about the part you could play!”
