First published on: 21st October 2022We are pleased to announce that the Revd Ruth Helen Adams, currently Bishop’s Adviser for Resilience in Conflict in the diocese, who works as a self-employed mediator and facilitator, is to be licensed by the Bishop of Huntingdon as Associate Priest (Self Supporting Minister) to serve in the Great Gransden and Abbotsley and Little Gransden and Waresley Benefice on 28 October 2022.
Appointment Announcement: The Revd Canon Jutta Brueck

Retirement Announcement: The Revd Susan (Sue) Jane Giles
First published on: 26th September 2022The Revd Susan (Sue) Jane Giles, Vicar of The Anglesey Group, is retiring after nearly 40 years of Ministry of which 10 years in the Diocese of Ely on 10 February 2023. Her last Sunday in the Benefice will be 22 January 2023.

First published on: 1st September 2022After a long period of ill health, Adrian Daffern has resigned from his position as Incumbent of St Mary the Great with St Michael Cambridge with effect from 31st August 2022. His position as Rural Dean of North Cambridge Deanery also comes to an end at this point.
Departure Announcement: The Revd Dr Caroline Jane Yandell

The Revd Andrew James Avery was made an Incumbent of the Benefices (Rector of Fletton and Vicar of Stanground and Farcet).
Announcement: The Revd Sandra Kay Gardner
First published on: 22nd August 2022Further to the Bishop's Pastoral Order, which came into effect on 1 June 2022, the Benefice of Wisbech Saint Mary and Guyhirn with Ring's End, Gorefield and Southea with Murrow and Parson Drove and the Benefice of Leverington, Newton in the Isle with Saint Mary in the Marsh and Tydd Saint Giles are to be kept in plurality by one incumbent. The Revd Sandra Kay Gardner is the first incumbent of the benefices (Vicar of the first and Rector of the second above named benefice).
Announcement: Mrs Sarah Louise Molyneux-Hetherington

The Benefice of Saint John the Evangelist, Cambridge
First published on: 16th August 2022Following the Bishop’s Pastoral Order which came into effect on 1 June 2022 the name of the benefice and parish of Cherry Hinton Saint John the Evangelist shall be altered to “The Benefice (or Parish) of Saint John the Evangelist, Cambridge”. The Revd James Shakespeare is and will remain Incumbent (Vicar) of the Benefice.
