The Diocese of Ely seeks a Vicar to serve in Grantchester and Newnham.
Our parishes sit along the south-west boundary of Cambridge and blend the best of town and rural life.
Newnham is a popular city neighbourhood with a distinctive feel, while Grantchester village lies surrounded by fields yet only a short distance from town.
Our welcoming churches pray for an incumbent who will:
- provide spiritual leadership through thoughtful preaching and teaching, pastoral care and quality worship;
- help us to build on our strengths for the sake of mission and growth;
- be a visible presence and make positive links with our communities;
- value and support the wide range of our cultural, social and devotional activities.
We can offer a good vicarage, sound finances, a ministry team, committed lay volunteers, administrative support and a serious commitment to clergy wellbeing.
