The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce that The Revd Paul Simon Seaton-Burn, currently a Team Rector of The North Dartmoor Parishes and Rural Dean of Okehampton in the Diocese of Exeter is to be Incumbent (Team Rector) in the Linton Team Ministry Benefice (Subject to satisfactory DBS check).
The Revd Dr Robert (Bob) Arnold Hughes Evans, currently chaplain at Christ College, Cambridge has been appointed as Senior Chaplain at Radley College in the Diocese of Oxford. Bob is leaving Christ College on 22 December and starting his new role in January 2023.
On behalf of the Bishop of Ely we are pleased to announce that the Revd Oliva Mary Kana Coles, currently Associate Priest in Whittlesford Benefice is to be Vicar of the Benefice (House for Duty). Olivia will be instituted by the Bishop of Ely and inducted by the Archdeacon of Cambridge on 27 November 2022.
The Revd Richard James Gibbs, Rector of Stilton with Denton and Caldecote with Felkesworth with Morborne and Haddon Benefice and Elton Benefice (held in plurality) is stepping down from this role. His last working day will be 3 February 2023 and his last Sunday in the Benefice will be 29 January.
The Bishop of Ely announces the resignation of the Revd Dr Elizabeth (Lizzie) Ann Murgatroyd-Shipp as Priest-in-Charge of Melbourn and Meldreth (held in plurality) in the Diocese of Ely as of 31 October 2022.
We are pleased to announce that the Revd Ann Maureen Edith Williams, currently Assistant Curate in Training in St Neots Team Ministry, is to serve in the Team Ministry established for the Benefice of Ely with particular responsibilities for the Proprietary Chapel of Saint Peter. Ann will hold Bishop’s Permission to Officiate to enable her to fulfil her role.

Lydia has also been appointed as Incumbent (Rector) of Duxford and Incumbent (Vicar) of Hinxton

We are pleased to announce that the Revd Ruth Helen Adams, currently Bishop’s Adviser for Resilience in Conflict in the diocese, who works as a self-employed mediator and facilitator, is to be licensed by the Bishop of Huntingdon as Associate Priest (Self Supporting Minister) to serve in the Great Gransden and Abbotsley and Little Gransden and Waresley Benefice on 28 October 2022.
The Revd Canon Jutta Brueck, currently serving in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, is to be Interim Priest in Charge of St Mary the Great with St Michael, Cambridge. The appointment is until 31 August 2023.

The Revd Lynda Brady, currently Associate Minister, Six Fen Churches, is resigning, after 8 years serving in the Diocese of Ely, on 30 November 2022.
The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce that the Revd Canon Nicholas (Nick) Ian Moir, Vicar of Fen Ditton and Rector of Horningsea and Teversham, has accepted the invitation to be next Rural Dean for the Cambridge North Deanery for a period of five year.
The Revd Susan (Sue) Jane Giles, Vicar of The Anglesey Group, is retiring after nearly 40 years of Ministry of which 10 years in the Diocese of Ely on 10 February 2023. Her last Sunday in the Benefice will be 22 January 2023.
